I am just stoked to be playing the Beanery this weekend. I hope anyone and everyone can make it. Some of my best friends from high school will be attending, which is a rare treat. If anyone has any songs they would like to hear, please send your requests to info@meganking.net.

Next week Chad and I will be on vacation. I seriously cannot wait to sit around and read tons of books, and do some conte sketches. i'm starving for rest, and some time to clear the head.... maybe get some fodder for some new songs.

then maybe one day i can quit my day job, even though its not so bad... doing music fulltime would be really cool.

This has been a venue that has supported local youth for the past 8 years or so. They bring in quality music, and allow kids (and older) to watch shows free of charge. We all know how boring it can be to be a teenager in this area-- help give them something to do....

Please go to their website and make a donation (can do by paypal-- and ANYTHING helps) to save their building. Recently, the roof collapsed, and they've had to shut down to re-build.

Rachael Davis and Steppin In It will be at C2G on Sunday at 7:30-- you've got to see them. I mean, seriously, drop everything and just do it.

We had a great time at the Brew... or at least I did. Most of the people there stuck around for quite a bit, so either you were really bored, or you ... hee hee... you like me. Yes, it's ok you can admit it.
In some circles (usually odd ones) I am considered a pretty cool gal. At least my husband thinks so.

Regardless, I hope you come out and hang out with me again... I will be posting pics from the show soon. And you, yes, you... might be on one of them.

Thanks to the Brew for letting us stay late to mingle and take our time. It worked out well for me, as all of the equipment was neatly packed away, and I barely had to lift a finger. ;)
